Our theology section

We have a large theology section including numerous books on Methodism but also general Christian literature, religious biography, music, old prints and a small section on other faiths.

Tucked away in the backroom are several antiquarian works including some very old bibles. If you would like to look at these just ask when you come in.

About Carol Henshaw

I am a retired medic & academic who volunteers in this bookshop. I love books, travelling, photography, painting and printing, all sorts of music (choral singing now & hope to take up the saxophone), gardening and natural history, arts & crafts, hanging out with old friends and making new ones.

Wish I was there browsing….although I must admit I’d peruse another section!
(Despite the fact that one of two favorite authors of all time, Madeleine L’Engle, wrote numerous books about Christianity I preferred her secular books.)

  2. That’s great – you can come & stay with us at some point on your trip

How far do these books go back? Anything on Antinomianism?
