Bird books on World Book Day

We have quite a few ornithological books on our shelves and a number for sale on the internet. I could not resist taking a photograph of this one:

How to study birds (1 of 1)

We also sometimes have volumes from the New Naturalist series. A recent one, had it been in ‘very good’ or ‘as new’ would have been worth between £250 and £400. Sadly, some small rodent had chewed one corner of the cover and dust jacket so it was worth considerably less.

We have a large natural history section so please come and have a look – we are open tomorrow and Saturday.
